His experience triaging a $2M pipeline failure that went undetected for 72 hours was the founding motivation for the platform.

Query optimization and data infrastructure engineer with a background in distributed query engines. Previously built lineage extraction systems at a data platform startup. Designed Decube's automatic lineage extraction engine that connects to Snowflake, BigQuery, and Redshift via read-only OAuth.

Spent four years as a data engineering team lead at a mid-market fintech, personally triaging hundreds of pipeline incidents. Brought the frontline perspective that shaped Decube's ownership routing and business glossary features. He knows what data engineers need because he was one.
Based in Singapore, distributed globally
The Decube team is headquartered in Singapore with engineers distributed across Asia and Europe. We operate as a remote-first company. Most of our early customers are in the US, which means our engineers overlap with US business hours by design.
We are a small team and plan to stay small for as long as possible. Every hire adds complexity. We would rather ship faster and stay focused than grow fast and lose clarity.
